  • Wood Destroying Organisms (Pest & Dry Rot)

As your professional home inspector it is our duty to alert you to unknown problems and to determine evidence of wood destroying organisms in your current or potential house. This inspection is often combined with a Standard Home Inspection and is a non-invasive visual inspection of your property which can alert you to possible problems such as:

    • Termites
    • Carpenter Ants
    • Powder-post Beetles
    • Dry Rot
    • Wet Rot
  • Mold Lab Testing

Mold spores occur naturally almost everywhere, both indoors and outdoors. These microscopic spores float along in the air and can enter a home through any opening. Mold spores thrive in moist environments. It can take only a small water leak, or even excess humidity, for mold to form in your home. Many types of mold (including black mold, Stachybotrys chartarum) can produce allergens and irritants that have the potential to cause adverse health effects. If you’ve found mold in your home, we can help you determine its type and solutions for eliminating it.

  • Winterization Services

The winterization service involves preparing a vacant home for winter conditions, such as shutting off the main water supply, opening faucets to eliminate air locks, draining hot water tanks and draining water supply lines, among other tasks.

  • Duplex & Condominium Inspections

Interested in purchasing an investment property? Our inspection can clue you in to potential problems that frequently occur in structures with multiple dwellings.

  • Re-inspections

Home re-evaluation services are requested after a home buyer asks the seller to make repairs to the property following the initial inspection. We evaluate all the repairs requested to assure the repairs have been properly corrected according to safety standards.
